UND Student Ambassadors are official representatives of the University of North Dakota. They are an elite group of student volunteers who serve as UND representatives at various events throughout the year such as Welcome Weekend, open houses, and other campus receptions. Student Ambassadors are a dynamic group of students motivated for the enhancement of the University and the college experience.

2008 student ambassadors

UND Student Ambassadors are selected through a written application, group interview, and individual interview. Specifically, Student Ambassadors must possess the following skills/characteristics:

• Positive attitude about the University of North Dakota
• Excellent communication skills in one-on-one and group settings
• Knowledge of UND programs and services
• Understand of the needs of new students and their families
• Demonstrated potential for leadership ability
• Organizational and time management skills
